I’m a Belgian graphic and motion designer with extensive experience in branding and in creating high-quality product customizers for clients across the globe.
With over four years of experience as a motion graphic and (visual) product designer for the international sports brand Osaka World, I bring a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project. Through graphic design, motion design, and product customization, I help businesses elevate their brand and stand out in today’s competitive market.
My journey with product customizers began during my internship at Osaka in 2020, where I developed two top-tier configurators from scratch, covering everything from product photography and Photoshop retexturing to interface design and Shopify integration. Since then, I’ve continued to refine my craft, combining design expertise with a deep understanding of the Kickflip platform.
Today, through my creative lab, Lab Martis, I collaborate with brands worldwide on bold visual identities, engaging motion content, and seamless, high-end customization experiences.
Let’s work together to elevate your product’s customization journey.

We’ve been working on a fairly complex project with Lab Martis for the past few months. Despite multiple additions, they’ve never been fazed. The work has always progressed promptly.
Amazing, fantastic, fabulous... Maarten is wonderful to work with!

Maarten has created assets for four designers for us. His work is timely and professional, and he is always very helpful. He goes above and beyond. He is exactly what we needed to get our designers launched, where others failed so many times!
Excellent quality work
Dan Lazar · MedTailor ·
Maarten was integral in the buildout of MedTailor's Kickflip customizer feature. He helped us with integration, configuration, and designing the user interface. He has also worked on a number of important projects for us including digital photo editing, several print designs, banners and display advertising, product feature updates, and more. He is extremely detailed, produces clean designs, and consistently delivers on time. He is a very talented designer that we highly recommend.
Exceptional Designer for Custom Product Tools
Caroline Smedts · Osaka World ·
Maarten's design skills were key in creating a high-quality, immersive customizer for Osaka World’s field hockey sticks, allowing users to personalize their product in real-time with stunning detail. After this success, he developed a similar customizer for the brand's padel bats. His work is visually engaging, user-friendly, and aligns perfectly with brand goals. Maarten's creativity, professionalism, and technical expertise make him an invaluable asset for custom product tools.
